Huron Cross Country saw four of its athletes compete at the MHSAA LP Division 2 State Finals, benefiting from favorable weather conditions for this prestigious event.
In the Division 2 Women’s race, Falyn Doss secured a position in the top quarter of the field placing 62nd, surpassing her school record with a time of 19:27.5, a 6-second improvement. Avery Turk, in her second state appearance, claimed the 127th spot (20:21.2) among 250 runners.
In the Division 2 Men’s Race, Luke Dulecki finished in the top half of the field placing 91st (16:39.5) and Abdul Ghennewa landed in the 129th spot (17:05.6) out of 252 runners.
